Investing in esports in the context of recent eventsJan works at Grant Thornton Advisory as a Manager in the Finance and Data Analytics team, where he covers financial modelling (CBA, predictive models) and more recently also transaction consulting (Due Diligence, Mergers and acquisitions).
In 2018, he came from Nordea Bank in Sweden to Grant Thornton as a Consultant. Jan’s primary motivation was the quality of the team and the variability of the projects, whether it is the sector of the clients or the projects themselves, where he went from the energy sector through waste management to blockchain investment funds. In addition to the acquisition of know-how, he appreciates the opportunity to completely manage projects and people, because at least for himself he sees a significant improvement compared to his previous work and a great added value of the company.
Jan graduated in Economics and Finance from the Institute of Economic Studies at Charles University and continued his studies in Sweden at the Stockholm School of Economics, where he obtained his MSc. He is a fluent speaker of English and a pre-intermediate speaker of German and Swedish.
