As we have already informed you, on 27 June 2025 the Chamber of Deputies approved an amendment to Act No. 563/1991 Coll. on Accounting.
On 23 July 2025, this amendment was approved unchanged by the Senate.
In particular, the adopted amendment changes the area of limits in the form of net turnover and net assets (their significant increase) for individual categories of accounting units and the related change in the obligation to have the financial statements audited by the auditor. At the same time, the amendment simplifies the requirements for the preparation and submission of the sustainability report.
The main effect of the changes will probably be from 1 January 2026.
We will keep you informed of further procedural developments.
