Grant Thornton becomes a proud partner of the Czech orienteering race

In 2025, there will be championship titles and medals to compete for in eight Czech orienteering championships and eight Czech O-Tour races – and Grant Thornton will be there. 

For the year 2025, we have become the title partner of the Czech National Orienteering Championships and the main partner of the Czech O-Tour series. The championship season will start in April with a night orienteering race and will continue until October. The Czech O-Tour started in January with a race at the Prague Zoo. It will then move to Žacléř, the Moravian Karst and the Ore Mountains. 

Sport is close to our hearts at Grant Thornton and we have long supported it. We are all the more pleased to participate in the orienteering races because many of our employees regularly take part in them. We look forward to meeting you at some of the stops – and who knows, we may even form our own Grant Thornton team in the future.

• ZOO Praha: 26 January 2025 – Longer sprint between penguins, elephants and gorillas 
• Žacléř: 5 April 2025 – 2 races (WRE sprint and longer sprint) at the Jan Šverma mine, a former underground coal mine 
• Moravian Karst: 18–20 July 2025 – 3 races (classic, sprint, short track) together with the European Youth Championship 
• Ore Mountains: 25–26 October 2025 – 2 forest races (classic and short track) in the beautiful mountain terrain near Lesná during the autumn holidays
