The government has approved the Operational Programme Employment Plus, due to which our country can receive EUR 1.459bn from European funds in the period between the years 2021 to 2027. The programme should mainly be used to improve chances on the labour market for people, who are disadvantaged for some reason when looking for a job. This mainly includes people with disabilities, people unemployed in the long term, young people out of school, or women after maternity/parental leave.
Informal dialogue with the European Commission needs to end, first, and the programme will then be officially presented to the Commission. The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs expects the programme to be approved at the beginning of the year 2022. You can find more detailed information here.
