During the chilly autumn days, several interesting and mainly expected subsidy calls for small, medium and large companies outside Prague were announced. These calls support the development of modern technologies, innovation, digitalisation and sustainable business across different sectors. Here is an overview.
For four calls from the Operational Programme Technology and Applications for Competitiveness (OP TAK), the reception of applications starts in October and for one call the opening is planned for the beginning of November. You can look forward to Digital Enterprise, Applications, Circular Economy, Potential a Innovation.
“It is important to emphasise that some of the upcoming calls will focus only on transition regions, including the Central Bohemia, Pilsen, South Bohemia, South Moravia and Vysočina regions. In addition, the Applications call is now also able to finance projects from the defence industry,” explains Ondřej Miffek, Grant Thornton’s expert on grants.
“Unfortunately, some calls have a lower allocation than originally expected. According to the official information of the OP TAK Managing Authority, the reduction was made in connection with the preparation of a change to the Operational Programme, which will enable the use of funds earmarked for transition regions also in favour of less developed areas where the allocation is already being exhausted,” adds Miffek.
Digital Enterprise – Digital Technology
Within the Digital Enterprise Call, small and medium-sized companies implementing a project in the transition regions of the Czech Republic can receive financial support of up to CZK 100 million for the introduction of Industry 4.0 elements and the purchase and implementation of advanced non-production digital technologies.

Applications – DEEP TECH
The implementation of industrial research and experimental development can again be funded through the call Applications – DEEP TECH. Financial support of up to CZK 100 million can be obtained not only by small and medium-sized companies for projects dedicated to, for example, robotics, biotechnology or the defence industry.
- Eligible applicants: small and medium-sized companies, large companies (effective cooperation), research organisations (partner)
- Amount of support: up to 85%, max. CZK 100 million, always depending on the size of the enterprise and category of activity
- Reception of applications: 29 October 2025 to 19 February 2026
- Territory of implementation: territory of the Czech Republic, outside the capital city of Prague

Circular economy
Small and medium-sized companies as well as small companies with a medium market capitalization have the opportunity to receive a subsidy of up to CZK 250 million for the introduction of new technologies contributing to the transition to a circular economy. The subsidy can finance, for example, the introduction of technologies for the production of secondary raw material, semi-finished product or product from own waste material or technologies for the reuse of own production waste back into the production cycle.
- Eligible applicants: small and medium-sized companies, small companies with medium market capitalisation (up to 499 employees)
- Amount of support: up to 60 %, max. CZK 250 million, always depending on the size of the enterprise
- Reception of applications: 31 October 2025 to 30 July 2026
- Territory of implementation: territory of the less developed regions of the Czech Republic

Innovation
The fourth Innovation call for product and process innovation has also opened. Not only small and medium-sized companies, but also small companies with a medium market capitalisation can receive up to EUR 60 million for increasing the technical and utility values of products, technologies and services, as well as for improving the efficiency of production processes and service provision.
- Eligible applicants: small and medium-sized companies, small companies with medium market capitalisation (up to 499 employees)
- Amount of support: up to 45 %, max. CZK 60 million, always depending on the size of the enterprise and region
- Reception of applications: 29 October 2025 to 23 January 2026
- Territory of implementation: territory of the transition regions of the Czech Republic

Potential
The next Potential call will open for applications in early November. Not only small and medium-sized companies will be able to receive a subsidy of up to CZK 60 million for the establishment or development of industrial research, development and innovation centres consisting in the acquisition of technology, equipment and other equipment necessary to ensure research and development activities. Projects focusing on DEEP TECH will be given extra points.
- Eligible applicants: small and medium-sized companies, small companies with medium market capitalisation (up to 499 employees), companies with medium market capitalisation (up to 3,000 employees)
- Amount of support: up to 45 %, max. CZK 60 million, always depending on the size of the enterprise and region
- Reception of applications: 6 November 2025 to 17 February 2026
- Territory of implementation: territory of the transition regions of the Czech Republic
