The Tax Administration has started sending out information for paying real estate tax as it does every year. The deadline for payment of the tax (or the first instalment) is 31 May 2023. This year, the Financial Administration informs taxpayers about the amount of real estate tax in the following ways:

  • SIPO – for taxpayers registered for tax payment via SIPO (automatic debit transfer), the tax payment will be made as standard in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Czech Post.
  • By email – taxpayers, who do not use SIPO to pay their tax, will have all the information they need to pay their tax sent to their email inbox.
  • Via data box – all data box holders, who have not subscribed to the above services, will have their tax payment information sent to their data box.
  • Through the DIS+ – taxpayers, who have set up DIS+, will be shown the details for payment of real estate tax in DIS+ at www.mojedane.cz under NASTAVENÍ A INFORMACE O SUBJEKTU/ DAŇ Z NEMOVITÝCH VĚCÍ (SETTINGS AND SUBJECT INFORMATION/REAL ESTATE TAX). The user will be informed by notification that the tax payment information is available in DIS+.
  • By postal order – individuals, who do not have a data box or a tax information box plus (DIS+), do not use services for sending tax payment data to e-mail or do not pay tax via SIPO, will receive a type A postal order in their mailbox. Payment of the tax by postal order is charged according to the current price list of the Czech Post.
