Martina Šumavská is a managing associate specializing primarily in employment law, immigration law, personal data protection, and litigation. She oversees legal advisory services in the field of immigration and is also actively involved in publishing and lecturing. Martina is on the board of the Czech Employment Lawyers Association (CzELA) and is a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA), both of which bring together lawyers specializing in employment law. She is also a member of the Czech Society for Employment and Social Security Law.
She has been working with GT Legal since 2019. Prior to that, she worked at the State Labour Inspection Office as a lawyer in the regional department of illegal employment inspection, and at the international law firm Eversheds Sutherland. Martina graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and also studied at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide in Seville. In addition to Czech, she is fluent in English and Spanish.
