David Hrušťák is a Senior Consultant and Team Leader for tangible asset (Machinery and Equipment) valuations at Grant Thornton Valuations. He provides valuation services for
a broad range of purposes e.g. market valuation, purchase price allocation, financing, insurance, component valuation according to IFRS/IAS, set of remaining useful lives of machinery and equipment.
Prior to cooperation with Grant Thornton Valuations, David has worked as a Consultant and later as a Senior Consultant for valuation of tangible asset in the Prague branch of the consulting company American Appraisal Associates. He participated in many projects, valuation of intangible and tangible assets in the Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Poland, Cameroon, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Sudan, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia of various industrial facilities in many industries like: chemical, petrochemical and food industry, metallurgy, power industry, machinery, transportation and many other industries.
David has been working in the sector of valuations since 2010. He graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Process Engineering (Master’s degree). He completed his postgraduate studies (Ph.D.) at the same university, Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering.
